Nenasi is a small river town located in the state of Pahang. It is one of the few quiet fishing villages left that looks like the paintings of old. Many tourists will pass by this little town while heading towards the popular Pulau Tioman, though it is worth to stop by to experience the tranquility and peacefulness this little town has to offer.

Being a fishing town, Nenasi have many fishing enthusiast visiting regularly to catch its large variety of fishes in the sea. The Nenasi Beach is long and usually shaded, making it a great place to walk along the coast and enjoy the sea breeze. Some believe Nenasi got its name from the Pineapple fruit, also known as “Nenas” in the Malay language. Whether that is true or not, visitors will be able to find plenty of fresh pineapples and pineapple jams being sold by locals from wooden stands by the roadside.
