The Sant Sohan Singh Ji Barsi is a religious event that commemorates the death of Sant Sohan Singh Ji Barsi by the Sikh community in Melaka. Sant Baba Sohan Singh Ji was the most influential and highly respected Sikh missionary with his influence being strongest in Malaysia and Singapore. His selflessness towards the community, progressive leadership, exemplary life & teachings inspired and caused Sikhs all over the world to undergo a spiritual awakening. Until today, followers from all over the world like Singapore, Thailand, Australia and Canada gather in the Singh Temple, Malacca on this day to pay their respects.
