Tiger Kingdom is a zoo specially created for big cats in Phuket. Essentially a tiger breeding farm, Tiger Kingdom raises cubs / baby tigers, trains them and develops a bond between trainers and tigers since young. Tigers here are therefore comfortable with human beings and do not need to be drugged.
At Tiger Kingdom, visitors get to enter the enclosed habitat of tigers and play with them. The best part is, the tigers are not chained and visitors can stay up close with this wonderful creature! Nonetheless, some of the tigers may appear sleepy as tigers are lazy cats that sleep 18 hours a day. In the enclosure, you can cuddle, pet and gently stroke the tiger, much like how you handle a kitten. Remember to take lots of photograph of this special experience.
Tigers here are divided into 4 categories by age. Baby tiger cubs are 2 to 4 months old, small tigers are 5 to 10 months old, medium tigers are 11 to 15 months old, while big tigers are 16 to 36 months old. Visitors can choose the category they prefer, or even play with all 4 categories.
There is also a restaurant in Tiger Kingdom serving buffet lunch from 11 am to 3 pm, along with A La Carte menu. Situated just next to the tigers, visitors can enjoy lunch in a relaxing, green environment while watching the tigers.

Tiger Kingdom is located at Kathu Phuket. The zoo provides free transportation from Phuket Town. Visitors can contact 076-527-662 for booking.

Tiger Kingdom is open from 9 am to 6 pm daily.
Entrance ticket to Tiger Kingdom ranges between THB800 and THB1000 for choice of 1 tiger. For 2 tigers or more, package price costs THB1400 to THB3500.
Buffet lunch is priced at THB450.
