Round the world in 80 days? In Mini Siam and Mini Europe, Pattaya, you can go round the world in less than a day! Officially known as Mini Siam, the park features historical monuments and modern architectures of Thailand, along with well-known landmarks around the world.

The first section of the park, the Mini Siam, takes you through civilization and kingdoms of Thailand. The earliest dated monument in miniature here is Phanom Rung Historical Park in Buriram, built during the 10th to 13th century, or the Lopburi period. Next, you will see Wat Mahathat in Sukhothai, a temple built based on the concept of Mandala during the 13th century, or the Kingdom of Sukhothai.

The Kingdom of Ayutthaya existed for more than 400 years until year 1767 when the kingdom was destroyed by the Burmese army. Another monument believed to have been built during the kingdom was Wat Arun / Temple of The Dawn, which was later refined by Rama II in early 19th century.

Moving on to the present Kingdom of Rattanakosin, Mini Siam showcases Wat Phra Kaeo in Bangkok, initiated by Rama I, Phra Thinang Aisawan Thiphya-Art and Anantasmakom Hall (The Marble Throne Hall), both by King Chulalongkorn. Modern Thai buildings featured include the Victory Monument and Rama IX Cable-Stayed Bridge, both in Bangkok.

The other section of the park is the Mini Europe, featuring the infamous Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe in France, The Colosseum and Cathedral Group of Pisa in Italy, Tower Bridge in England, and Abu Simbel in Egypt. The Statue of Liberty in the US, Opera House in Australia, Angkor Wat in Cambodia, and T’ien-T’an Altar of Heaven in China are also featured here.
