The Emerald Pool
The tour shows you another side of Krabi – other than sand, sea and sun of tropical islands. Surrounded by lush green jungle, water at the natural hot springs is always warm at 35 degree Celsius and believed to contain plenty of curing minerals. Emerald Pool or “Sra Morakot” is located not far from the hot springs. Also hidden in the jungle, this natural pool is a nice place for swimming and relaxing. The tour also brings you sightseeing at Tiger Cave Temple, or “Wat Tham Sua”, a Buddhist temple which is also home and meditation center for Buddhist monks and nuns. You can walk up the 1,237 steps staircase to the summit to see a 278-meter tall golden Buddha statue and get a panoramic view of the whole of Krabi. The tour also provides option to ride on elephant which will bring you trekking through the jungle.
