Kulaijaya is a district in the state of Johor. It consist of different towns such as Kulai Town, Ayer Bemban, Bukit Batu, Kangkar Pulai, Kelapa Sawit, Saleng, Sedenak, Seelong, Senai and Sengkang. Among all, Kulai is a busier town located at about 29 kilometers from Johor Bahru and 8 kilometers from Skudai. Majority of the people here are involved in the oil palm and rubber estates activities. While some others work in retail shops mostly located along the trunk road. Kulai is one of the main palm oil producers in Malaysia as it has the most oil palm plantations around. Besides, Kulai also provides fresh vegetables to Singapore and the neighboring countries on a daily basis.

How to get there

There are a few ways to get to Kulaijaya district, by air and by land.

By Air

For visitors coming to Kulaijaya by plane, you will stop at Sultan Ismail Airport at Senai where you will need to take a bus or taxi to reach anywhere in Kulaijaya district.

By Bus

On the other hand, if you prefer to come here by bus, then you may board a bus from the major city or town in Peninsular Malaysia and stop at Kulai Bus Terminal. Other transportation are like rental cars and taxis are available upon request at Kulai Bus Terminal as well.

By Train

Lastly if you are coming by train, then you may stop at Bandar Kulai Train Station that comes from the main cities or town centers in Peninsular Malaysia.
