By Air

Kangar, the capital city of Perlis is a 45 minutes drive from the Sultan Abdul Halim Airport in Kepala Batas, Kedah. Regular flights are operated by Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia from most of the destinations in the country. From the airport, visitors can take taxis or buses to Perlis.

By Road

Perlis is connected with other states via the North South Expressway. Bus and taxi services are available from Johor, Terengganu, Kelantan, Melaka, Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Kedah. Buses from Perlis to other states depart from Kangar and Kuala Perlis Bus Terminals.

By Sea

Regular ferry services are available between Kuala Perlis and Pulau Langkawi. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and tickets can be purchased online or at the ferry terminal.

By Rail

Malayan Railways (KTMB) operate daily regular train services from Kuala Lumpur, Alor Setar, Hatyai and Singapore to Padang Besar and Arau.
