Itinerary:

Day 1

Welcome to Mataking Island, an exceptional romantic and diving vacation spot within the Celebes Sea on the east coast of Sabah in Malaysia. Start your journey at 10:30 am when we pick you up from Tawau Airport to take you to Semporna Jetty. At 12:00 pm, hop on a boat that will bring you to the beautiful Mataking Resort, offering stunning views of the Celebes Sea.

Arrive at the resort around 1:00 pm and enjoy a tasty lunch in the peaceful surroundings. After 2:00 pm, check into your comfy room, and the rest of the day is yours to explore. Relax on the beach or try exciting activities like snorkelling or diving. Gather at 6:00 pm for a delicious dinner by the ocean. Mataking Resort is a special place where you can unwind and have fun, creating lasting memories of your tropical getaway.

Day 2

Embark on a day of underwater exploration and relaxation at Mataking Island, starting with a tasty breakfast at the resort at 7:00 am. Enjoy your morning as you gear up for the First Boat Dive, a thrilling experience that reveals the beauty of the underwater world. Dive once again with the Second Dive in the late morning, discovering the secrets hidden beneath the crystal-clear waters.

Return to the resort at 12:00 pm for a satisfying lunch, combining local flavors with international delights. Recharge your energy for the adventures ahead. In the afternoon, get ready for the Third Boat Dive, exploring new dive sites and encountering the diverse marine ecosystem that Mataking Island is renowned for.

As the day comes to a close, gather at the resort at 6:00 pm for a well-deserved dinner. Enjoy a delightful meal that reflects the unique blend of local and international cuisine. Share stories of your underwater encounters with fellow travelers, creating memories that will linger long after the sun sets over the tranquil waters of Mataking.

Begin your day with a tasty breakfast at the resort at 7:00 am, enjoying the delicious morning offerings in the tropical setting. The morning is yours to relax and take it easy during the “Free & Easy” time.

As the clock approaches 11:00 am, it’s time to say goodbye to the island paradise. Complete your check-out before 11:00 am, ensuring you’ve soaked in all the wonderful moments during your stay. At 11:00 am, a boat transfer awaits to gently take you back to Semporna Jetty. Enjoy the scenic journey over the crystal-clear waters, taking in the last views of the beautiful island. Once at Semporna Jetty, a smooth transfer is arranged to take you to Tawau Airport, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free journey as you depart from Mataking. Reflect on the peaceful moments and unforgettable experiences, carrying with you the cherished memories of your tropical getaway.

  • Daily 3 boat dives with weights, weight belt, tanks, and our professional Dive Master/Dive Instructor at different dive sites such as Mataking Island, Timba-Timba Island, Pandanan Island, and other nearby island (except on the arrival and departure day)
  • Unlimited shore buddy dives (house reef) without guide. (Equipment rental is NOT included)

  • Please note that all room allocation is based on Run of the House (ROH).
  • Booking requirement of minimum 2 paying adults & above
  • Certified child divers will be charged at adult diver rates, and parents are responsible for their child at all times.
