Itinerary:

Day 1

Arrive at The Barat Beach Resort around 10:30 AM, where you’ll check in and settle into the island. Head to the Dive Centre by 11:00 AM, initiating your underwater exploration with a briefing and theory session designed for Open Water Certification (OWC) students.

After a light lunch around 1:00 PM, you will join in a hands-on learning as you set up dive equipment and learn theory lessons. You will be equipped with ample knowledge before starting your diving journey.

Return from your diving adventures at 5:30 PM, giving you ample time to relax before dinner at 6:30 PM. Conclude the day’s activities with a theory session at 8:00 PM, and end off the day 1 course around 10:00 PM.

  • 9:00 AM: Register at The Barat Beach Resort office at Kuala Besut Jetty
  • 9:30 AM: Depart from Kuala Besut Jetty to Perhentian Island
  • 10:30 AM: Arrive at The Barat Beach Resort and Check In
  • 11:00 AM: Report to Dive Centre
  • 11:30 AM: Briefing & Theory for OWC students
  • 1:00 PM: Light lunch (own expense)
  • 2:00 PM: Set up dive equipment and Theory session
  • 3:00 PM: Confine water dives
  • 5:30 PM Return from diving
  • 6:30 PM: Dinner
  • 8:00 PM: Briefing & Theory Session
  • 10:00 PM: End for day 1 course

Day 2

Your day starts with breakfast at 7:00 AM following briefing and theory sessions. After that, you will delve into open water dives with briefings at 11:00 AM, each providing a unique and enriching experience.

You can take a break and savor a delicious lunch at 1:00 PM and resume the afternoon with additional open water dives and return from these explorations at intervals.

You will end your diving adventures by returning to the resort at 5:30 PM. Enjoy a delightful dinner at 6:30 PM, followed by evening briefing and theory sessions at 8:00 PM, bringing the day’s course to a close around 10:00 PM.

Day 3

Your day will start with breakfast at 7:00 AM. You will have a briefing and theory sessions at 8:00 AM, preparing for an exciting open water dive experience later at 11:00 AM.

After returning from your morning dive at 12:30 PM, take a break for lunch at 1:00 PM and continue the day with additional open water dives, returning at 3:30 PM.

Enjoy a delectable BBQ dinner at 6:30 PM while creating unforgettable memories and end the evening with briefing and theory sessions, including an exam at 8:00 PM. As the night sets in, enjoy some free time for you to unwind.

Day 4

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at 8:00 AM and attend the last briefing at where you’ll receive your certification award for completing of your diving course. After that, check out at 10:00 AM, ensuring a smooth departure from Perhentian Island.

Take a break for lunch around 12:00 PM and you can spend your spare time around 1:00 PM for any pending theory sessions or certifications to ensure all aspects are complete.

Depart from Perhentian Island at 4:00 PM, sailing back to Kuala Besut Jetty to end your diving adventure.

  • 9:00 AM: Final Briefing & Certification Award
  • 10:00 AM: Check Out
  • 12:00 PM: Lunch (Own Expense)
