Itinerary:

Day 1

Your journey begins with a 7:00 AM pickup from Georgetown or Penang City, followed by a transfer to the Betong border for immigration clearance. Upon arrival, savour lunch at your own expense before making a photo stop at OK Betong, an iconic landmark signifying your arrival in Betong. Visit Wat Thada Pracharam and experience the spiritual ambiance of touching the Buddha heart. Walk through the Betong Mongkollit Tunnel, Thailand’s first and longest road tunnel, to the Betong Chicken Statue, a symbol of the town itself.  In the evening, visit the bustling Betong Night Market for local treats at your own expense before checking into your hotel for a restful night.

Day 2

Start your day early by departing for Ayerweng, arriving at Skywalk Ayerweng just before sunrise. There are 2 viewing stations for guests to experience the breathtaking Sea of Clouds. After soaking in the views, return to your hotel for breakfast. Continue with sightseeing and a photo stop at the Winter Flower Garden, a beautiful floral landscape 30 minutes from the city centre. Visit the historic Piyamit Tunnel, a stronghold previously utilised by the Communist Party of Malaya. Nearby is the Piyamit Millennium Tree, a giant 1000-year-old tree. Enjoy lunch at your own expense before relaxing at the Betong Hot Spring. Make a photo stop at Betong’s World’s Largest Mailbox, located in the heart of the city. Stop by Betong Kasong Wholesale for some shopping before enjoying a dinner of your choice. Return to your hotel and enjoy a relaxed overnight stay in Betong.

Day 3

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, check out and head to Betong Central Market for a taste of local life with fresh dumplings and fruits. Savour lunch at your own expense before transferring  to the Betong Border checkpoint to begin your journey back to Penang. Once you arrive in Penang, you’ll be transferred to your meeting point in Georgetown or Penang City, marking the end of this tour.

  6. Please advise if you provide pick up at Penang Airport and transfer us (7 adults) to Betong for a 3D/2N itinerary and then transfer back to Penang. Will send you our detailed itinerary if you can provide the service. We are travelling to Penang 28 Mar.
