Itinerary:

Day 1

The adventure begins as guests arrive at Pulau Banding Jetty (Royal Belum Jetty) at 8:00 AM, ready to embark on an unforgettable journey. After check-in and a quick safety briefing, a hearty breakfast fuels everyone for the day ahead. The houseboat sets off into the stunning Kooi River, surrounded by lush rainforest and calm waters—the perfect way to soak in the beauty of Royal Belum.

Lunch is a feast of exotic fish steamed with lemon, packed with fresh flavors. Then, it’s off to visit the Jahai tribe, where guests get a rare glimpse into their way of life, traditions, and survival skills deep in the jungle.

Next, a trek to Kooi Waterfall leads to an exciting surprise at the top, making the journey even more rewarding. A relaxing tea break follows before the energy picks up again with kayaking and bamboo rafting—a fun way to enjoy the river.

Lunch is a true back-to-nature experience—rice wrapped in Lirik leaves and chicken soup, both cooked in bamboo, giving them a delicious smoky, earthy flavor.

After that, it’s time to cool off at Kelah Sanctuary. The moment you step into the clear waters of Ruok Waterfall, fish gently swim around you, making it one of the most peaceful and refreshing experiences of the trip.
