Day 1
Welcome to Mataking Island, an exceptional romantic and diving vacation spot within the Celebes Sea on the east coast of Sabah in Malaysia. It is a promised island with majestic treasures, natural warmth, and friendship for vacation makers, spa lovers, honeymooners, and divers alike. Whether it’s a solo retreat for yourself or a thrilling underwater exploration, there is only one resort, which is Mataking Reef Resort.
It is the perfect place to start your married life, seamlessly combining stunning scenery with elegant accommodation and a nurturing philosophy guaranteed to enrich and captivate traveler’s. This is the place to go for newlyweds to relax and enjoy our romantic getaway package.
Our driver will pick you up from the Tawau Airport and take you to Semporna Jetty. The journey will take approximately one to one and a half hours. Then you will take a boat from Semporna Jetty to Mataking Island. Once you arrive, you may enjoy your lunch at the resort and are free to check into your room. Have some leisure time to walk around the resort to enjoy the beautiful and charming scenery.
After that, you may enjoy your dinner at your resort. They will serve different types of dishes based on one specific theme, such as international cuisine, Mediterranean cuisine, Malaysian table dishes, Indian treats, western cuisine, and so on.

1300 – Arrival to Mataking Resort, enjoy your lunch at resort

Day 2
Breakfast is served at the resort. Have some leisure time on your own like snorkeling near beach and enjoy the stunning view. After that, you may enjoy your lunch that served at the resort. Have some free time to walk around the resort to enjoy the amazing and charming scenery. You may enjoy your candle-light dinner and beautiful table setting (Buffet meals), one bottle of red wine, one platter of grilled prawns, honeymoon dessert or cake with your loved one.

Recommended activities: Snorkeling near the beach, kayaks and walk around the resort to enjoy the beautiful and charming scenery

Breakfast is served at the resort. Have some leisure time on your own and be prepared to check out the resort before 11 am. Depart from Mataking island to board the 11 am. boat to the Semporna mainland. Our driver will send you to Tawau Airport. Your tour will end here.
