Itinerary:

Day 1

Arrive at Kota Kinabalu International Airport and meet your local representative. Start your Kota Kinabalu City Tour with a visit to the beautiful Sabah State Mosque, famous for its big blue dome.

Next, see the Floating Mosque, which looks like it is floating on the water and is very nice for photos. Visit the Atkinson Clock Tower, one of the oldest buildings in the city. Then explore the Dry Seafood Market, where you can see many types of local seafood products. Walk through the Fruit Market to see fresh tropical fruits, and stop by the lively Filipino Market to shop for souvenirs and local handicrafts.

You will also visit a Chinese Temple and take a short walk along Gaya Street, a popular area with small shops and local snacks. After the 3-hour city tour, transfer to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy free time at your own pace and stay overnight in Kota Kinabalu.

Day 2

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before traveling overland to Kundasang, a scenic highland area about two hours away. Stop at Nabalu Market, where you can shop for local handicrafts and fresh produce while enjoying a nice view of Mount Kinabalu.

Continue to Poring Hot Spring and experience the Canopy Walk, where you can walk along hanging bridges above the trees and enjoy the rainforest view. After that, have lunch at a local restaurant.

Next, visit Desa Dairy Farm, often called the “Little New Zealand” of Sabah, where you can see cows grazing on green fields and take beautiful photos. Stop by the Kundasang Fruits Market to see and buy fresh local fruits before transferring back to Kota Kinabalu. Return to your hotel for a restful evening.
