Known as the city of roundabouts, Shah Alam is the capital city of Selangor, Malaysia. It has altogether 18 roundabouts throughout the town connecting the main roads. There are a population of about 650,000 people staying in Shah Alam. Most of the places here are occupied with residential. There are commercial centers and a few shopping malls in the city. Other than that, there are also a couple of recreational areas and attractions catered to the residents here with outdoor activities and short weekend getaway.

How to get there

Getting to Shah Alam is very convenient. You can either get here by train, bus or car.

By Train

If you are coming by train, you may take the KTM Komuter Line from Kuala Lumpur and depending where you want to go and stop at either Batu Tiga Station which is nearby Section 13 or Shah Alam Station which is located in Section 19.

By Bus

Rapid KL offers bus service number U80 and U64 from Kuala Lumpur to Shah Alam city center.

By Car

For those who is coming by car, there are several ways as Shah Alam is pretty well connected to many main cities hence you can get here via Federal Highways, New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS), Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE) as well as the Kemuning-Shah Alam Highway (LKSA).
