Itinerary:

Day 1

Welcome to Mataking Island, an exceptional romantic and diving vacation spot within the Celebes Sea on the east coast of Sabah in Malaysia. It is a promised island with majestic treasures, natural warmth, and friendship for vacation makers, spa lovers, honeymooners, and divers alike. Whether it’s a solo retreat for yourself or a thrilling underwater exploration. There is only one resort, which is Mataking Reef Resort.

Our driver will pick you up from the Tawau Airport and take you to Semporna Jetty. The journey will take approximately one to one and a half hours. Then you will take a boat from Semporna Jetty to Mataking Island. Once you arrive, you may enjoy your lunch at the resort and are free to check into your room. Have some leisure time to walk around the resort to enjoy the beautiful and charming scenery.

After that, you may enjoy your dinner at your resort. They will serve different types of dishes based on one specific theme, such as international cuisine, Mediterranean cuisine, Malaysian table dishes, Indian treats, western cuisine, and so on.

  • 1030 – Pick up from Tawau Airport to Semporna Jetty
  • 1200 – Take boat to Mataking Resort
  • 1300 – Arrival to Mataking Resort, enjoy your lunch at resort
  • After 1400 – Check in
  • Free & easy
  • 1800 – Dinner at resort

Day 2

Breakfast is served at the resort. Have some leisure time on your own and be prepared to check out the resort before 1100. Depart from Mataking island to board the 11 am. boat to the Semporna mainland. Our driver will send you to Tawau Airport. Your tour will end here.

  • 0700 – Breakfast at resort
  • Free & easy
  • Check out before 1100
  • 1100 – Boat transfer to Semporna Jetty
  • After that, transfer to Tawau Airport

Includes:

  • 2 ways land transfer between Tawau Airport and Jetty for actual check in / out date only
  • 2 ways boat transfer between Semporna Jetty and Resort
  • 1 night accommodation
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 lunch and 1 dinner (Free flow of coffee/tea and light snacks)

Excludes:

  • Semporna Jetty Fee
  • Snorkeling equipment + life jacket rental
  • Flight ticket

  • All room allocation is based on Run of the House (ROH).
  • Booking requirement of minimum 2 adults
  • Child 3 – 12 years old (based on year of birth) will be charged according to child rate
  • Infant below 2 years old (based on year of birth) free of charge
