At 12:00 pm, hop on a boat that will bring you to the beautiful Mataking Resort, offering stunning views of the Celebes Sea.
Arrive at the resort around 1:00 pm and enjoy a tasty lunch in the peaceful surroundings. After 2:00 pm, check into your comfy room, and the rest of the day is yours to explore. Relax on the beach or try exciting activities like snorkelling or diving. Gather at 6:00 pm for a delicious dinner by the ocean. Mataking Resort is a special place where you can unwind and have fun, creating lasting memories of your tropical getaway.
Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner
Begin your day in the tropical haven of Mataking with a delightful breakfast at the resort at 7:00 am. The morning unfolds with the freedom to choose your own adventure during the “Free & Easy” time.
Then, dive into the vibrant marine world with optional activities such as snorkelling or scuba diving (at your own expense), exploring the mesmerising underwater wonders that surround the island. At 12:00 pm, treat yourself to a tasty lunch at the resort, enjoying a mix of delicious flavours in the tropical surroundings. After lunch, the afternoon is yours to continue your easy exploration. Take a leisurely walk around the resort, enjoying the beauty of the surroundings. Whether it’s the greenery or the inviting beaches, Mataking offers a perfect setting for unwinding.
As the sun sets, gather at the resort at 6:00 pm for a lovely dinner. The dinner experience goes beyond just the food; it’s an opportunity to savor the unique flavors of Mataking in the peaceful island atmosphere. At 11:00 am, a boat will be ready to take you back to Semporna Jetty, providing a scenic ride across the clear waters. This transition from the island to the mainland is a moment to reflect on the wonderful experiences you’ve had.
Once you reach Semporna Jetty, the journey continues with a smooth ride to Tawau Airport. This final part ensures a comfortable shift from the peaceful island life back to the busy routine, leaving you with great memories and a refreshed feeling from your time in beautiful Mataking.
