Sanrio Hello Kitty Town is a mini theme park in Johor, based entirely on the lovable Hello Kitty character. It is the first ever Hello Kitty theme park out of Japan.
Visitors will get to enjoy an array of games, rides and fun activities at the park. Start off with the Hello Kitty Tea Cup Ride, located close to the park entrance as gently revolving tea cups bring visitors spinning through rhythmic music. Then, take a tour of Kitty’s House, where visitors get to see the interior designs of the house of Hello Kitty and her sister Mimmy. Visit also Friendship Land, a small playground that encourages get together amongst visitors. The Wishful Studio is where visitors can participate in a range of free activities on different time schedules. Visitors will also be entertained by stage performances at scheduled hours at the Purrfect Stage. Finally, visit the Black Wonder, a castle replica in visitors must walk through and try saving Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel. Visitors should not leave the park without memorabilia; capture the fun-filled moments of the trip at the Kawaii Photo Centre or the Dream Photo Garden, both of which are located side by side. Tired legs and hungry stomachs are easily sated at conveniently placed Cinnamoroll Café.
The Hello Kitty Town is the one and only Hello Kitty theme park outside Japan and is definitely a must visit. Dont forget to visit the nearby The Little Big Club for a fun filled ride as well as the Lat’s Place for fine dining.
How to get there
Sanrio Hello Kitty Town is located at Persiaran Puteri Selatan, Puteri Harbour in the state of Johor. Visitors can get to Puteri Harbour by taxi or shuttle bus from the nearby Legoland, Singapore or Senai International Airport.
Opening hour and entrance fee
Sanrio Hello Kitty Town is open daily from 10am to 6pm. Tickets are priced at RM 75 for non-Malaysians and RM 55 for Malaysians.
