Welcome to Malaysia! As you touch down on the runways of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT), you would have reached the first destination you should never miss in the district of Sepang. Prior to its development that started in 2000, Sepang was just a stretch of palm oil plantations. However, just as the town has become the gateway to Malaysia, it has been receiving tens of millions of tourists annually. Situated at South Selangor, Sepang draws a border with Kuala Langat to its west, Petaling Jaya to its North and the state of Negeri Sembilan to the east. Surrounded by Sepang is one of the Federal Territories of Malaysia – Putrajaya where the country’s federal administrative center is located.
