Bekok is a little village located in the state of Johor that serves as one of the entrance to the Endau Rompin National Park, the second biggest national park in Peninsula Malaysia after Taman Negara. Most stop by the village for food and lodging if at all, but many nature lovers will pass Bekok to access its surroundings of beautiful waterfalls and unique flora and faunas. One of the forest nearby called Hutan Lipur Sungai Bantang is a great place to visit for camping and all other sorts of outdoor activities, as well as star gazing later at night. The beautiful Sungai Bantang Waterfall which is the home to rare and unique variety of dragonflies, Damselflies and butterflies also attracts nature photographers from both Malaysia and Singapore to visit.
