Lenggong is a town located in the state of Perak, Malaysia. The Lenggong Valley was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site in 2012. It is a rural area, with small villages surrounded by green vegetation and limestone hills. Lenggong is also the oldest known place of human activity in Peninsular Malaysia where the archaeologist discovered the skeleton of a male date to about 11,000 years old found at Gua Gunung Runtuh in Lenggong Valley.

How to get there:

By Car

From Kuala Lumpur, get on Plus Highway, then exit at Kuala Kangsar. Lenggong is 48 kilometeres away from Kuala Kangsar. It takes approximately 3 hours to reach Lenggong.

By Bus

Another option is to come by bus. There are bus services available provided by Transnational Express Bus. There are 2 trips daily departing from Jalan Duta Terminal in Kuala Lumpur. It takes 3 and a half hours to reach Lenggong. If you are coming from Ipoh, you may get on the Perak Roadways bus from Medan Kidd Bus Station. There are buses at departing to Lenggong at every hour. The travel time is 1 and a half hours. As for people from Kuala Kangsar, buses which come to Lenggong are the Red & Yellow Omni bus at Kuala Kangsar Bus Station. Buses available every 45 minutes and it takes only an hour to reach Lenggong.
