Keningau is a one of the oldest and largest town located in the interior of Sabah. It’s named after the Javanese Cinnamon Tree which is abundant in the area and used to be famously known as the King of Spice.

The main attraction in Keningau is the Crocker Range Park which was recognized as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, and home to the famous Rafflesia flower and Hornbills, definitely worth for a visit for the nature enthusiasts.
